Hello JGES Families,

This is a busy week with report cards coming home on Tuesday. There is NO SCHOOL on Thursday April 7th due to Parent-Teacher Meetings. 

You will receive an email on Tuesday with a link to access your child’s report card.  There is also a red mailbox on their GNSPES launch page( the page they see after the log into GNSPES).

Parent-Teacher meetings are virtual the afternoon of April 7th and in person the night of April 7th.  You can make your appointment through this link: https://www.parentinterviews.com/josephgiles/ .  If you need help please call the office at 902-464-5192, or email jge@hrce.ca

Out of an abundance of caution and based on guidance from Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, we’re asking parents, guardians and teachers to wear masks during in-person parent-teacher meetings.

The Out-of-Area process for the 2022-23 school year opened on Friday, April 1, 2022. The link to the request form will be live on the HRCE website at 8:00 a.m.New for 2022:
parents/guardians may now seek placement for their child attending the Pre-Primary Program in a school outside the neighborhood in which they reside under the guidelines of the Student Registration Policy. We will be having a fire drill this week depending on the weather.  It will likely be Wednesday or Thursday.
