Dear Families,
Today, we were out in the rain, and as temperatures drop, we’ll be outside in the cold as well. Please ensure your child has warm clothing, including coats, hats, gloves, and a change of clothes. We’re also collecting gently used winter coats and snow pants to support our families. A great way to clean out our closets and help other families save some $$. Donations can be dropped off at the main office. We will first offer them to our school families and then share any remaining items with Schools Plus for broader distribution.
Santa Shop Santa Shop is this Thursday. Items are $1 each. Please send the appropriate amount in change in you are able. Thanks to PTO for organzing the event and all the volunteers who are coming to help wrap.
Lunch Program: As we approach the Holiday Break, we want to share an update regarding the Dec 27th Ordering Window of the Nova Scotia School Lunch Program. The Cycle 8 lunch ordering window opens Dec 27th and has been extended by 1 day, closing at noon on Thursday, Jan 2nd, 2025. This extension accommodates the Holiday Break, giving parents additional time to place meal orders.To recap: There are two ordering windows in December: First Ordering Window: Opens Friday, Dec 13th and closes at noon on Wednesday, Dec 18th. This window includes only Friday, Jan 3rd (first day back after break).Second Ordering Window: Opens Friday, Dec 27th and is extended by 1 day, closing at noon on Thursday Jan 2nd, 2025. Service dates for this window are Jan 5th to Jan 18th
As we approach the holiday season, I want to wish all our families a safe and restful break. We’re excited to finish the week with our Santa Shop, a wonderful community event for students from Pre-K to Grade 6. We look forward to welcoming 2025 and all that the new year will bring!
