JGES Family Forecast

Hello JGES Families,
This week we hit the month of May- this means we have little over 2 months of school.  Planning is in full swing for the 24-25 school year behind the scenes.  However, we are still focused on having a great finish to the school year.
Two safety messages we are giving weekly to students: if you see something, say something, and to avoid interacting with the public especially people with pets on the pathes that border the school.  Students are being reminded that if something seems dangerous to let an adult know.  We also are reminded them not to talk to strangers with pets that use the public walkways that border the grounds.  There have been no issues but it is a good preventative measure.
With the change of seasons, we are going to purge our lost and found at the end of the week.  We’ll do reminders for students to check out the lost and found.  Please give a reminder from home too.
Our PTO is planning  some exciting events for the end of the year bringing in a special guest into the school for the younger students, and a field trip for older students.  There are also class trips planned for many of our classes.  If you are interested in being a chaperone, you need a criminal record check, and child abuse registry check on file.  If you’re not sure, call or email the office for us to check.  We appreciate your time to support these trips.  THANKS PTO!

Have a great week,
      Mr. Fry
