JGES Family Forecast Sept 14-18

Hello JGES Families,

Your kids did great during the first week of school.  They handled all our changes very well.  When they had concerns, they brought them up.  We can’t wait for week 2.
Bus dismissal and arrival went very well.  It’s important for families to tell us at the office, and the classroom teachers if a student is changing their arrangements for bussing.  We take bus attendance daily to make sure everyone is safe.
Some parents asked about our protocols for students who are sick.  We follow the new guidelines and will call parents to pick up students who display covid symptoms.  If your child have allergies that may present as covid symptoms, please reach out to the office and classroom teacher.
We will be outside for Physical Education and recess/lunch as much as possible.  It is important to send a change of clothes.  Students can wear rubber boats on a rainy day plus a change of shoes.  They all just need to go home at the end of the day.
We have a fire drill coming up on Thursday.  Teachers will review the drills with staff before we do it as a school.

Have a great week,
Mr. Fry
