Term 1 is finished- report cards will be coming out next week. Parent-Teacher meetings are a time for families to discuss what is going well for our students and areas we are working on. Appointments are all in person and available Dec 4 and 5. Report cards will be coming out on Dec 3 electronically.

Book your Parent Teacher Meeting P-T Meetings for grade primary-six are all in person this year. You can book your parent teacher appointment at https://parentinterviews.com/josephgiles/ If you aren’t able to come in person, you can contact the teacher to get a meeting by phone.
No Nuts at School: A reminder to families that there should be no nuts or nut products send to school. This includes peanut butter, nutella, and any other nut spreads.
Santa Shop We are going to start collecting new and gently used items for our Dec 19 Santa Shop. Students get a chance to purchase gifts for their family. More info is available the flyer from the PTO.
DRESS FOR THE WEATHER . Please ensure that your child comes to school dressed for the weather.Students are expected to remain outside upto a temperature of “feels like” -20 celsius.
Lunch Program Notes: The next deadline to order lunches is December 4th. If you have feedback on the lunches, email lunch@hrce.ca Families, if leftovers do find their way home, lunches should not be consumed more than two hours following the school lunch period.
