Hello Families,
Adams Photography will be back on November 13 for photos for students that missed the first session or need a re-take
It was a great week last week with over $4500 spent at our book fair. This gave the school over $1700 in books for the library. If you have any feedback on the bookfair, let us know. This is the only one planned for this year.
The Remembrance day assembly was a special day with all our classes presenting learning in front of the whole school. It was student led with 2 fantastic Gr 6 students running the whole thing. It was a special day filled with respect and learning.
With the change in weather, it’s important for students to dress for the weather. If it’s misty/light rain we are outside. If the weather is warmer than -20 we are outside. It is important that students are dressed correctly, and have a change of clothes.
Our parent teacher meetings will be in person this year. Families will still book their time online. We’ll be sending out the link later this week. If you aren’t able to attend, you can contact the teachers to set up a phone call at another time. They will be Dec 4 from 6-8, and Dec 5 from 1-3 pm.
Playground #2 has been removed. We expect construction to start immediately. This structure will have equipment suitable for older, larger students. It is a flip of what the original playgrounds were. We have had some vandalism during construction. If you hear anything, please let us know or call the RCMP non-emergency line after hours.
We have scheduled our Holiday concert for the afternoon of Dec 10 1 pm. The snowdate is Dec 13. Info on tickets will come home soon.
Have a great week!
Mr. Fry
