Hello Joseph Giles Families,
As we finish our first full week of school, we are so excited about how the year has started.  The children have been amazing as we welcome new students, and adjust to the newest covid protocols.  Our kids have shown the adults how to adjust with constant change.  Our staff has been working hard to settle in to get to know their students, and set up routines.  It has been such a positive first 2 weeks of school.
Our region is focusing on P-2 literacy.  The goal is to have all students reading at grade level by grade 2.  At the school, this means we will be targeting support to these students.  At the same time, we will continue to be working to support our Grade 3-6 students. 
As always, if you need anything, please reach out to the classroom teacher, and to us in the office for support.  We are all in this together.
